Open databases

Free of charge MatCalc thermodynamic 'mc'-databases are based on the Calphad research conducted at TU Wien in the period 2010-2015. These will not be supported in that extent as ME-databases. 'mc'-databases are subject to Open Database License and can be downloaded from here

Al-based alloys (mc_al.tdb) Elements: Al, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Si, Ti, Zn, Zr; Metastable precipitate phases are included
Fe-based alloys (mc_fe.tdb) Elements: Fe, Al, B, C, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Mo, N, Nb, Ni, S, Si, Ti, V, W.

The open databases are included in the MatCalc package as default.
